Luvin' Fall
We have been so busy the past month doing fun things with the kids! {that's why I've neglected the blog!}
We took a little weekend trip to the mountains and had a blast! We went to Cherokee for the day and spent the evening at some families house. They fixed all kinds of great food and the kids had so much fun playing around their house, way up on a mountain!
Finn was asleep in the stroller behind Wells!
Finn wasn't to sure about the Indians dancing! They were a little scary!!
Wells turned 10 months on the 13th of October! I missed blogging about that so I wanted to throw that in! She has started eating more solids and is doing great. It took her longer to get used to solids than it did Finn. She loves drinking out of her cup and is down to just one bottle at night. She wakes up and eats her breakfast, eats lunch, has an afternoon snack, supper, and then bottle before bed. I have started giving her some whole milk mixed with breast milk to. She just drinks it up and doesn't have any problems with it. She had her first ear infection and the antibiotic really messed up her stomach. Im so glad to be done with it. She is getting one top tooth and still has only 2 bottom teeth. She is so pleasant and the sweetest little thing. I could just bite her face it's so cute!
Finn and Sawyer has stolen all my Halloween candy!
We went to the pumpkin patch, although we had to leave early because I didn't take any diapers! Ha! I'm the Mom who goes out with a baby and no diapers. I'm just lucky to get out the door most days! She was all smiles even though she was soaking wet!
We went to Jared's families chicken stew this past weekend. Finn had a lot of fun and didn't want to leave!

Jared has been so busy building us a barn for our chickens. We are still going to get a goat sometime. I will post some pictures of it when we get finished, it turned out so good!

Happy 9 Months!
Wells is 9 months today! Where does the time go??? They are definitely keeping me on my toes these days! With Wells crawling around everywhere, and my little {Dennis the menace} I am crazy!
She has had a cold and is still a happy little girl! Unless she sees you coming at her to wipe her nose, and then she will flip out on you!
One of her new favorite games is to pull her bow/headband off! We were in Walmart last week and we spent more time searching for her bow {that she pulled off and threw down} then we did shopping! I was determined to win the battle! I wonder where they get their stubbornness from! Ha!
I am having so much fun dressing a little girl
and painting toenails {I think it is time to repaint those toenails!}
Wells is still a great sleeper! She sleeps from 8 to about 8 and naps twice a day {morning/evening}. She takes a bottle 3 times a day {morning/evening/night}. I can't WAIT to stop pumping! I will try to get her on whole milk at 11/12 months. She is drinking out of a cup pretty good. She eats 3 meals and still doesn't like puffs or anything in her mouth. I tired the yogurt bites/puffs and she gags! She doesn't like the third stage food that has any chucks in it. She will eat it if it is smooth! I will just keep trying and she will eventually get it. She is SUCH a easy going sweet little girl! I take her Thursday for her 9 month checkup.
Finn is talking so much these days. We are trying to work on potty training but it's not going very well! He can do #1 pretty good but #2 not so much! I am just taking it slow because I think he will catch on when he is ready. He basically knows the concept so he will get it. He went to his first art class yesterday and had so much fun! He made the cutest little ant playground and today I found it totally torn apart. He is a MESS but he is the sweetest little fellow!

Miscellany Monday!
We went on a little beach trip this past week! Jared was out of town with work, so we just packed up and headed to the beach! It wasn't a very good trip but I think Finn had fun so I guess that's all that matters!
My Mom and Wells got colds while we were there, so Wells didn't sleep very good.{which means Mommy didn't sleep good}
Wells did love the sand!
Finn has said about a million times he wants to go back to the beach! I guess he is going to love the beach like me!!
Poor little Wells, you can tell she doesn't feel very good!
On a another note, we are starting to get on a better schedule around here! I posted the cleaning/supper schedule on our chalkboard and explained it to Jared! I know he is thrilled! He always asks me what needs to be done so now he can just go look at the list and check it off! I used to be able to knock out all the cleaning on one day, but now with the kids I just don't have time to do that. It has to be broke down in days. Plus, I have got to get myself on some sort of schedule. I feel like I walk around in circles most days.
