4 Months and Allergy Doctor!

Yay! I'm finally getting around to blogging! I have not been able to upload pictures for the longest time and it was making me so mad I didn't even want to blog! I finally figured it out. Tomorrow Wells with be 4 MONTHS!!

She went today for her 4 month checkup!

Weight: 15lbs 3.2 oz (80%)
Length:  24 in (45%)

She sleeps through the night and eats about every 3-4 hours. She usually goes to bed around 7:30 and naps about 3 times a day. One in the morning and a long afternoon nap. Then she will take a little cat nap in the evening. I tried to feed her some cereal today but she wasn't having it. She is really cranky this evening from her shots today. Plus, we have been gone ALL day long at Dr visits. She has turned into the best little baby! I am so blessed to have had 2 good babies!

She will smile at whoever looks and talks to her! She is for the most part always happy!

I took Finn to the allergy doctor this morning because I had a feeling that he was going to have allergies. He has had a runny nose basically since spring started. He tested him for all the "spring" things, trees, grass, and inside allergies (dust mites, mold, etc..). He was very allergic to all of them! I have to give him a nasal spray everyday. He said by the time he is 5 he will probably have to take shots to help they will be so bad. I had to hold back from crying when he told me because I just hate it for him.

Here is a picture from them putting all the different things on his back! He did soo good today! He cried alittle at first when we got in there, but then he just sat on my lap while the nurse did her thing on his back. All the red dots are everything he is allergic to, pretty much everything they put on him!

He has not been a very good little boy lately but he sure is cute!

2 Months!

Happy 2 months to Wells!

We had her 2 month checkup yesterday!

Weight: 12 lbs 9.6 oz  (90th %)
Length: 23 in (75th %)

She is sleeping from 8 until 6:30 and then she eats and goes back to sleep until about 9:30!! She is a really good baby. In the mornings she is so happy but sometimes in the evenings she can get alittle crabby! She had to get 2 shots yesterday and I think her legs were hurting her pretty bad. She cried alot yesterday evening and if I just touched her legs she cried. She is not really on an eating schedule, we just feed her whenever we think she is hungry! I am starting to figure out her napping schedule which makes things alot easier for me.  I am a very firm believer in having kids on a schedule! I think it makes a much happier baby and a happier Mommy!

She can't wear most 0-3 months clothes anymore. She wears 3-6 months and 6 months. That is crazy to me! Finn was so tiny when he was little and now we have this chunky little girl! I went back and looked at Finn's weight charts and he was in the 10th % in the first 2 months, but he was early, and now we have one in the 90th %. If Finn wasn't early I'm sure he would have been right there with her. It didn't take him long to catch up! I love me some chunky babies!!

Now I'm going to get some things done today! My goal today is to stay off the computer as much as possible! This thing sucks me in!!

7 Facts About Me!

I received the 7 Facts Award from Courtney's Organized Chaos!
I just list 7 things about myself and award it to 2 other bloggers!

1.  I am a SAHM and I have been married to Jared for 4 years, but we have been together for 10 years (with a few bumps along the way). I have a 2 yr old Finn and a 2 month old Wells! They are all the LOVES of my life. Becoming a Mom has been the best thing that has ever happened to me! It has changed me as a person and I see things totally different now! I am so blessed with such an amazing family and an awesome God!

2. I love watching TV. The TV comes on so soon as I wake up and stays on all day long. I hate to admit this, but I have been obsessed with Jersey Shore! Ha! When I first brought Wells home from the hospital they had a marathon on and it played all night and day. When I was up late with Wells it was the only thing playing, so I got so into this show. I can't wait for Thursday nights just to watch it. It cracks me up! It's sad I know... I also have to watch Young and the Restless everyday! I have watched it forever because my family has always watched it. Disney is usually always on the rest of the time for Finn (and me of course!). I have started watching The Talk and it is really funny. Those are my fav shows right now! Oh and of course the Bachelor to! I want Emily to win!! Not only because she is from Charlotte, right down the road, but I think she is gorgeous and so sweet!

3. I am always late and very forgetful. It doesn't matter if I get up 2 hours earlier then I need to, I will still be late! Those are 2 things that are just a part of me that I can't help!

4. I really don't like Tuesdays! Jared has school and he is gone ALL day long!! He only has a year left of getting his MBA and I can't WAIT!! I don't see how you single Mom's handle 2 kids all the time alone. It is hard work! By the end of the day on Tuesday's I am pooped!!

5. I LOVE to shop. Mostly for clothes, but really I can shop for anything! I really enjoy buying my kids clothes! It's so much fun dressing them, especially Wells! I get so excited picking out her outfits when we do go out, which right now is not very much! She is starting to fit into normal clothes now and not just the button up outfits. I also love shopping for decorations and things for my house!

6. I am addicted to diet dr pepper, or really any diet drink. I drink way to many!!

7. I love food and love to eat! That's probably why I can't loose this extra baby weight! I have been trying to cut back but man I just love to eat! Ha! I want Mexican food everyday for some reason.

Those are just a few things about me!

I am going to pass this award to Jessica at Life with the Baileys, and Jenny at Biesecker Baby Farm!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentines Day! Today is Day 14 of Summer's LOVE Challenge!

Today's Challenge is to post pictures of the people you love! I am going to post pictures of our Valentine's Day so far!

We started off the day playing with our Valentine's Day treats!

I tired to take some pictures of the kids together but it wasn't very successful! Ha! Finn was crying for my phone and Wells was getting aggravated! Then Mommy was just getting stressed so we called it quits on the photo shoot! Maybe one day I will get a decent picture of both kids.

I then had to change Wells' out of the outfit I bought her for Valentine's Day because we had an accident. I can't believe how big she is getting and how much she is changing!

It's like 70 outside here today so we decided to go take Mimi (my Mom) out for lunch!

Jared and I went out to eat and left the kids with Mimi!

Jared bought me this necklace that says Mom for VDay! I actually got it Friday when I found it on our doorstep! Of course I had to go ahead and open it! I love it!!

These are just a few of my LOVES! We are missing my sister, Chad, Sawyer, and Harper today! They are at Disney World and have been since last week. They need to hurry and get home!!

Best French Dip EVER!

Yesterday I fixed the Pioneer Woman's Drip Beef and it was to die for! I will give you the recipe I used. She has 2 ways you can fix it but I went with the 2nd one. I don't have a picture because we ate them so fast I didn't have time to take one! Ha! I borrowed her picture!

1 whole 2.5-4 lb Chuck Roast ( I put pepper on the meat before I put it in)
1 large onion, sliced thick
1/4 cups of butter
3 cloves of garlic (I used 3 spoonfuls of wet minced garlic)
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup Sherry (I used cooking Sherry)
1/2 tea salt
4 cups water
I added some Rosemary to!
Toasted, buttered Deli Rolls
Provolone Cheese!!

Heat butter in a heavy pot over medium-high heat. Saute the onions for a couple of minutes, or until starting to get brown.

Set chuck roast on top of the onions. Add all remaining ingredients. Cover pot and simmer (very low heat) on the stove for 6 hours, or until beef is fork-tender and falling apart. **If meat is not yet tender, return to oven for 30 minute intervals till it’s tender!** Shred meat with two forks until all large chunks are gone. Serve immediately or continue to simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

*Mixture can be refrigerated overnight. Remove hardened fat from top of pan before reheating

Toast your bread in the oven with butter and provolone cheese and then put your meat on! Get some liquid out of the pot in a little cup to dip!

Steamfresh!

I am obsessed with Steamfresh vegetables right now! Anything that is quick, easy, and good makes me really happy! Foodlion just had there steamfresh bags on sale, and I had lots of coupons for them to, so I stocked up!

It is so easy to pop some of these in the microwave and fix a quick meat. You have a great meal right there! Last night I fixed a bag of steamfresh rice and some broc with cheese. That took about 10 mins in the microwave. Then I broiled some frozen talipa fish I had (just put butter on each piece with seasoned salt and lemon pepper!) and it was SOO good! I broiled mine for about 7 minutes in the oven!

Finn didn't like the fish and he ate a few pieces of the broccoli, but he LOVED this rice! He kept wanting more!

I really like the steamfresh corn on the cob to! You would think it would be soggy but it is awesome! You should try some of these if you haven't already!

Summer's LOVE Challenge Day 10!

Summer's LOVE Challenge today is to post about your Valentine's Decor!

I wanted to make alot of cute Valentine's things I saw on some decorating blogs, but I have not had time to get anywhere to buy the supplies I needed! So I just used the things I had! I have alot of pink and red decorations so I just used those with a few Valentine things!

I am wanting to change my decor in my house so bad! I guess being here all day everyday, makes me bored with the way things look now! I desperately want new couches but I think I should wait until the kids get alittle older! I don't let Finn eat in our living room, but he does sneak in there with stuff sometimes! Maybe when it warms up we can venture out to do some shopping! I just hate taking my kids out in the freezing cold unless it is necessary!

Go link up to Summer's Blog to show off your Valentine Decor!!
