Miscellany Monday!

I am obsessed with Coffee..When I wake up that's the first place I go is to make coffee. I need it to get through the day...it's just sad...

I have this little brewing station that makes the coffee and you can fill up your cup! I drink it until lunch and pretty much would drink it all day if I could! I sometimes would rather drink coffee for lunch..healthy right??

Just thinking about it makes me want some!

Basement....

Do you ever feel like your head is going to explode because you are constantly thinking! I have SOO much to do before Wells' birthday party it is INSANE. We have been working non-stop on our basement trying to get finished before her party next weekend. We had to totally finish out our bathroom and now we have a playroom, a little office space, and a big area to play or whatever. Today I woke up actually feeling at peace about everything. We work until 11-12 every night and I still lay in bed thinking about what all needs to be done. Poor Jared has been working so hard for me and I have been a slave driver! Ha! He just does whatever I tell him. I know he is so ready to get a job and get away from me! 

On top of me making him do all this basement stuff 24-7, I was determined to get a glass front door for my Christmas present. So, he put that up for me to! I'm loving it and it was a pain to get it to work. He had to build out from our other door. He is so smart to do all this stuff for me, he can do anything!

It's hard to tell because I took this at night with my phone, it has a rod iron design on the glass!

Our chickens like to fly out of the barn and come visit us!

The kids love it and check out Harper! I think she might be a hunter! Ha! 

On top of us working on all this, we had my Mom a little birthday party and I fixed supper for everyone!

I am antiquing the floors with stain so they aren't so bright!

The bathroom is what I am most proud of! Jared laid the tile and did the design on the wall. We had a pedestal sink that my Mom gave us and it fell over and broke the day before we were ready to put it in. So, yesterday morning I went out on a mission to find some sort of sink. We decided we wanted something like a piece of furniture with a sink in it. All the ones I could find were way to expensive! 

I found this piece of furniture at HomeGoods for 100 and then went to Lowe's and got a sink and faucet and Jared fixed it up! It's my most favorite project we have done. It turned out so good! Plus, he did that tile all by himself {FYI he has never done that before!}

My little office still needs some work! 

I can't WAIT to be done with this and just sit down and enjoy some time with my family! Wells' party is Saturday so I think it is all going to come together!

Today and everyday I have so much to be thankful for. I couldn't even begin to list everything!

Funny Pictures and 11 months!

So, yesterday we attempted to go outside and take a few pictures of the kids for our Christmas card. It was pretty frustrating! Ha! Wells wants to eat EVERYTHING!!! Here are just a few and they are ALL like this!

These are so funny because you can watch her find something and then eat it..then me running up to dig it out of her mouth! Ha!

I don't think we will ever get a good one of them together again!!

Wells was 11 months on Sunday so I wanted to put a few things down she is doing! 

She is starting to walk! She takes about 5-7 steps right now and could walk if she didn't flop down so she could speed crawl! She is starting to eat real food pretty good and only takes a bottle at night. She loves her sippy cup and I will probably take her bottle away when she turns one. I think she would do good drinking some from a cup right before bedtime. She loves whole milk and I am starting to just pump once a day!! Wahoo! I feel so free! She still takes 2 naps a day, goes to bed at 8 but she has been waking up early since the time change. I will leave her in bed until Finn wakes up and she just plays quietly. She is the sweetest little thing but is turning into a little firecracker. She actually bit Finn last night because he took a toy away from her. Yikes! I think I am going to have my hands full with her! They usually play really good together and he calls her to follow him all day. 

She found the toilet paper in the bathroom.

She has 2 teeth on bottom and almost 4 on top!

I can't believe she is almost 1! I am trying to get her birthday party together and if Jared would hurry up with our basement project I would feel much better with the party planning! We are having the party here in the basement and he has ALOT to do in a month!! 

Please say a prayer for Jared with the job search! He has a few things in the works and I know God will guide him in the right direction. As stressful as this process has been, I know this was all part of God's plan for us and for Jared!

Crazy week!!

Well this has been one crazy week! Jared is jobless, we went on a cruise and got back just in time for trick-or-treating with the kids! Me being stressed is an understatement! I think I have a stomach ulcer now from stress and we don't have any insurance until next week. Please keep us in your prayers as Jared finds a new job. I know God answered my prayers {maybe not exactly the way I wanted}, and in the long run everything will work out for the best for our family. 

We decided to still go on our cruise and we had a really good time until the last night!!! We had really bad winds and the ride was VERY rough. I didn't sleep at all and I was pretty much flipping out{and praying ALL night}. Of course my cell didn't work at all so I wanted to check the weather to see what was going on, and had no way of doing this. I was stuck on a ship, in the middle of the ocean and we were rocking all over the place! I think that added to my stomach ulcer!!

This was out our "set sail" party. Let me just say this was a Budlight party cruise{compliments of Jared's previous job!} so everything was a party! Ha! It was pretty interesting to sit back and watch everyone{of ALL ages!}. There was a 82 year old woman having her a good ole time!

This was the night we sailed out to our private island, Coco Cay. We were supposed to get a private concert from Pittbull {I had no idea who that was but I heard his song about a million times on the cruise!}.  He got rained out so we never heard him!

We had a dress-up Halloween party. All the costumes were so funny! This couple said it took them a month to make these all out of beer boxes!

We were being taken to our little private island! This was great until we got on the island and a bad rain storm came up. We had to pile on this boat to get back to our ship in VERY rough conditions. This was another time I prayed very hard to make it to our ship safely!
