Fun Things!

I have been trying to take Finn out this summer and do fun things with him. I know he gets bored sitting around here all the time and so does Mommy! I know once the new baby gets here it might be hard for me at first to take them both out, so I want to spend as much time doing fun things with Finn right now as I can.  We ALL go to the beach Friday for a week and  am so excited!! One crazy and loud week! My family, my sister's family, and my Mom all stay together so it gets pretty crazy! Our husbands don't look forward to this week!! Ha!! They both say this isn't a vacation for them. I'm sure they will be skipping out on us to play golf and try to avoid the wildness!!

We took the kiddos to the park one day with there school readiness group. I had to get a quick pic before we left because I can't ever get them together once we get there.

We went to Sciworks one day with all the kids plus a friend and her 2 kids.

It was so neat there! I think they liked the music part the best.

I wanted to show you a picture of Finn eating corn on the cob!! I have really been craving  corn here lately and Finn loves it to.

 I thought it was so cute!

Just a random note: You should have seen what I got at the grocery store yesterday. When I came home Jared was like you seriously bought this stuff! Ha! Just to list a few..pickled okra...summer sausage and cheese...salt and vinegar chips...popsicles....mozzarella sticks...2 bags of peanut m&m's....

I wonder if the guy checking me out was wondering why I was eating all this funky stuff!

Doing bad things...

I feel like I am not being a good pregnant Mom right now. I am breaking all the rules with this pregnancy. When I was pregnant with Finn I did everything by the books. I didn't drink caffeine, diet drinks, eat lunch meat, I walked every day, drank a ton of water, and I just did everything right. I guess it was right, I thought it was.

With this pregnancy I am not doing anything by the books.  I don't get any sleep and I eat anything and everything I want. I try to watch my caffeine but I have been finding myself drinking it. I actually feel better when I do drink it and get more stuff done! I know that's so bad!!

We have been taking frequent beach trips and it has been so great. When I go there it's so relaxing and I don't have to worry about doing anything! We have been the past 2 weekends! We are going back for a week over the 4th and I can't wait!

Finn has been crabby the past week so I took him to and ENT on Monday and got his ears checked and mine to. I have this popping ear pressure that will not go away. I thought I had fluid in my ear so I made us both an appointment. $100 later there was nothing wrong with either of us! Ha!  He said Finn's ears looked fine and my ears were fine. I guess I still have fluid and pressure from my sinus infection I had 2 weeks ago!! I might rip my ear off before it clears up!! He also said it looks like Finn has allergies.

Start of Summer!

I wanted to post a few pictures of our Summer so far! We are leaving for the beach today and I haven't packed one thing! I love to procrastinate!! We found out Finn LOVES the water and he tries to swim when we are holding him. I bought him some arm floaties and this weekend at the beach we are going to try them out!

I had to take some pictures of Finn eating Oreo's. I would say that he enjoyed it! He was licking his hands to get every last crumb.

Mr. Finn has become quite the handful. He is so strong-willed and when he wants something he is determined.  I feel like I say "NO" all day long and boy will he pitch a fit if he doesn't get his way!! On the other hand he can be such a sweetie and be so good. He has started giving me hugs around my neck and I just love it! 

Finn loves his Daddy. Jared wants to be outside all the time and Finn is exactly like him. Jared rides him on the four-wheeler and on the lawnmower (I know it's not very safe) but he just LOVES it. If he hears it and he is inside he goes crazy until I take him out there. He wants to be outside ALL the time. Anytime I put his clothes on or change his clothes he run's to the door thinking we are going outside.

Monday I had a doctor's appointment and got to here the heartbeat. The nurse couldn't find it at first and scared me half to death. Then when my Dr came in she said not to worry that she would be able to get it. So she did, and she said it was really fast. I said so that means a girl?? She said that's what they say but you never know!!  August 2nd is the big day and I am ready to find out so I can start planning what to do with the room, and we have SOO much to do to get ready. Move Finn's room, finish the basement, and move the computer and play room downstairs!! Aww..Just thinking about all the stuff that needs to be done worries me.

Gender Test..

This morning I took the Intelli Gender Test and I still have no clue what I'm having. Ha! When I first looked at 20 minutes it looked like a girl, but then I started sliding it around and waiting and it got darker and looked like a boy. Then I looked at the directions again and it said to look right at 20 minutes and then it will change, and not to touch it at all. So, I guess I will be finding out for sure in July!

I have been sick for about a week now. Finn got a cold last week and then I started with a sore throat on Friday and it just got worse. Today I am just starting to feel better. Finn now has an ear infection. I am so glad I took him yesterday because yesterday evening he woke up from his nap with a really high fever and felt horrible. This morning he woke up feeling better so I think the meds are kicking in.

Jared and I had a lot of fun at the Monster Event we went to on Saturday. I wasn't feeling the best, but I made it. I was exhausted by the time we left and slept on the way home.

We got to go back and meet Jason Michael Carroll in a private room. He seemed like a really nice guy!

I am 10 weeks now by the way and I am not sick anymore! I go back to the doctor on Monday and I hope everything is ok.
